ENG: I enjoyed some days on the Hungarian puszta, and visted Bence Maté and his Hidephotography Center in Pusztaszer. The Bee-Eaters were very active, and I got some great shots of the colorful Bee-Eaters.

ENG: Sitting out on a cornfield in the burning sun, is not recommendable. In the hide, the temperature got close to 50 degrees, and it reminded me of a sauna. But the Bee-Eaters were very active, and I got some great shots of the colorful Bee-Eaters.

The kestrel is the most widespread and often most abundant of European birds of prey. It belongs to the falcon family Falconidae, and is also known as the European Kestrel, Eurasian Kestrel, or Old World Kestrel. This species occurs over a large range. It is widespread in Europe, Asia, and Africa, as well as occasionally reaching the east coast of North America. Kestrels do not build their own nests, but use nests built by other species.
A few words about the breakfast should also be written: It is a European Green Lizard (Lacerta viridian).

Tårnfalk er den mest utbredte av Europas rovfugler. Den tilhører falkefamilien, og kan finnes over store deler av Europa, Asia, og Afrika, og fra tid til annen på Nord-Amerikas østkyst. Tårnfalken lager ikke egne reir, men hekker gjerne i gamle kråkereir, bergvegger, bygninger og i spesiallagde fuglekasser.
På menyen står gjerne smågnagere, firfisler, noe insekter og nylig utflydde fugleunger.

The Common Buzzard (Buteo buteo) is a medium to large bird of prey, whose range covers most of Europe and extends into Asia. It breeds in woodlands, usually on the fringes, but favours hunting over open land. Buzzards are smaller than golden eagles but just as formidable as predators.
Common Buzzards have a wingspan of 100-130cms, with the females weighing as much as 1.3 kg. Males tend to weigh less and as such are the more efficient hunters and fliers.
