Well the cloudy skies today made me wonder if I would be able to get a decent shot of the Blue Moon / Super Moon tonight. Mother Nature was very co-operative and the clouds moved out allowing me to capture it off the back of the deck this evening. The moon as you all know is not actually Blue, it has to do to the fact that there are two moons in a calendar month and this moon is the brightest and biggest of the year.
I put the 150-500 on the Crop Sensor Canon 7D on the tripod. Manual mode set to shutter speed of 1/200 f8 and ISO 100. I put the 10 second timer on so to avoid any shake even on the tripod. Cropped and converted to JPG in ON1 Photo Raw 2023.
