Looking at this photo after I took it, I was amazed to think what the odds could be to have the sun shine on the one side of arch and end exactly on a corner when I took the photo.
A bit of History regarding the Arch. All RMC Cadets will only march through the Arch as a class twice during their stay at the College: on arrival and for the last time as newly commissioned officers upon their successful completion of their fourth academic year at the College. However, cadets are encouraged to pass through the Arch during their stay at the college, to pay proper respect to the memorial, which was erected in 1923 in memory of cadets who were killed in action or died on active service.
