.....but wishing to be soaring.

With the sky and clouds here and the angle of the prop and engine it made me wonder if this now grounded aircraft at the National Air Force Museum at CFB Trenton were wishing it could go back up for one last soar.

Hats off to the men who flew her.

Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek. I hope you all know that I appreciate your comments however, awards and invites aren't necessary.

It's dark I know...but this... I promised the nice volunteer at the museum that I would use no flash on this lady...so, you can View Her On Black

She really is a beauty and if you are ever in Trenton Ontario Canada, by all means go and see this restored gal.....they have done wonders with her!

To all those who flew one of these and never came home, God has you with him. To my friend Lynne whose dad was one who was marked as "no known grave" in the book of of Remembrance at the museum here...that is until just recently when this lady was discovered...he has been found, he has been laid to rest and we will never forget the sacrifice he and his fellow crewmen made for us all in the name of freedom.

Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek. I hope you all know that I appreciate your comments however, awards and invites aren't necessary.
