Chipster here had the peanut in his mouth like he was chowing down on a piece of corn on the cob. I wonder if that is what we look like eating at a corn roast? Don't you just love their little paws?

Still staying home to flatten the curve and photographing my little piece of North Frontenac property where we live. You really can just photograph in your own backyard or, in this case, on your deck.

Took my Sigma 105 mm out today and went for a walk up the road. I have not really ventured out too far from the property unless going to work since the pandemic and state of emergency was declared or to go on, what I like to call, the "walking dead supply run" in for the odd grocery item..

The pollinators are out in full force on the golden rod and Queen Anne's Lace but other wildflowers have yet to make their appearance. I think its due to our crazy weather as well.

I really need to practice more to try to get in much closer to the insects. I am hand holding the camera and have not quite figured out what f stop I want these to be in to get a good sharp shot. But, practice makes perfect and as I said taking the camera out is good therapy for me to get my mind off the whole pandemic.

Got in the car and ventured down the road to see what I might spot to take photos of. We don’t venture off the property when we get home from work since the pandemic so my photos the last few months have all been taken here at home. GP encouraged me to hop in the car and go take photos. I am glad he did.
