Winter was a dark time, both literally and figuratively.
But in the darkest of times there is beauty, even if you can't see it at the time.
I had to wade in to the lake up to my navel wearing jeans and runners. My camera was about 10 inches off the water and I had to wait until the ripples I'd caused faded before I could take the shot.
I think it's funny how I spent 2 years in the Canadian Rockies praying for mist and getting none. Then like buses, all the mist I'd ever wanted sauntered into my shot in a matter of minutes.
Strange life eh?
