I will probably regret this.
These days I prefer to keep quiet about my favourite locations lest I add to the madding crowds by divulging.
But in this instance I'll spill the beans because I believe the people that run Meat Cove deserve a bit of free promotion.
Some might say that $40 per night to park your RV on a spectacular cliff edge is a little bit pricey. I think it's an absolute bargain.
Your $40 includes access to a full shower and toilets but most importantly, you get to wake up to this.
They only have a few camp sites at Meat Cove because it's such a tiny area so they are limited as to how much money they can make.
Camp site 11 has crumbled away into the ocean but we saw a brave young couple tenting on what remained, even during torrential rain.
You can see our Bigfoot perched just a few feet from oblivion.
I can't wait to return in the autumn when these mountains are peppered with shades of gold and red.
