While my domestic life is in turmoil with the church conversion (see Hardcastle Towers
www.youtube.com/c/HardcastleTowers), I can honestly say that 80% of my adventures have resulted in enchanting views like this.
Even on grim days, or perhaps because of the grey weather, I'm often inspired to stop and take in moments such as this.
If I had to choose just one word to describe Nova Scotia I'd pick 'weathered'. There is no surface on this coast line that stays pristine for long.
Lichen grows on almost everything which provides the artist with some fascinating textures and colours.
Ice, snow, rain and sun leave their mark on all things, including the people. It might be a hard life here but I'm lichen it...
Thanks for looking
