We had a magical big freeze' about 2 weeks ago but now it's all melted and turning the soil soggy.

But a quick look at today's forecast predicts that the coming weekend will offer 3 solid days of -10 and THAT means it's waterfall time.

It gives me a chuckle when the locals keep warning me about how brutal winter is and I tell them ''yeah. that's what I'm here for''.

They think I'm deranged.

Perhaps only slightly.
