Granni waterfall is one of the beautiful Waterfalls on Fossá River in Fossárdalur valley, innermost of Þjórsárdalur valley, in South Iceland. This is one of three waterfalls in this canyon. The largest is just to the left of this scene and is called Háifoss, or the 'High Waterfall' and is a waterfall It is the country’s fourth tallest falls. This was such a massive, breathtaking location.

This was on a rainy day with a group of excellent photographers and with my good friend Chris Byrne Photography.

Here's a photo of an egret deep in the swamp as it walked slowly into the light.

I was in a canoe at the time and stopped and watched, waiting for it to stand in the gateway that the bald cypress trees created.

I'm starting to get excited about a return to Caddo Lake this November. Over the last few years this place has become a favorite of mine. The photos that I've made there inspire me. My good friend Bender and I have only one spot left in our group. Contact me if you'd like to join us.

I went for the fog but it was virtually all gone when I arrived. Though I luckily got one shot with a tiny skiff that drifted into the exact right place.
