The footbridge at Lapworth station is also part of the local footpath network, it span not only the running lines seen here but also the long lifted relief lines which were behind the waiting shelter on the right. The bridge connects the station with field paths to the canal network at Kingswood junction where the Stratford-upon Avon canal and the Grand Union canal are linked. it was a popular route for anglers back when Lapworth had a decent train service, it was also a terminus for some of the local trains from Birmingham Moor Street, the goods yard closed 11/11/1963. 66152 is at the head of 4M71 the 09.51 Southampton Western Docks to Birch Coppice Exchange sidings.
