Brush Type 4s 47343 and 47193 with Ironbridge MGR coal trains, loaded and empty respectively on 26th March 1985. At this time the daily procession of Ironbridge MGR trains routed via the Oxley Chord originated from Littleton, Trentham and Silverdale collieries in Staffordshire. Nowadays the only trains that regularly use this line are the Chirk Kronospan to Carlisle logs empties and test trains operated by Locomotive Services Ltd. Photography is impossible because the line is completely concealed by mature trees.
