The Goudkantoor or Gold Office is a building built in 1635 and located on Waagstraat near the Grote Markt (Main Square) in Groningen, Netherlands. Originally it was built as an office for the receiver of taxes of the province of Groningen when it was called Collectehuis.
The text on the building, Date Caesari quae sunt Caesaris - Render unto Caesar that which is Caesar's, refers to the original function. (wiki)
>> One of the first of the HDR edits I did was of this building, but in hindsight I judge that version, although popular, to be too gaudy and therefore somewhat flawed. This one, while hardly subtle, is an attempt to give an more oldened & gilded look to the ever so aptly named Gold Office.
