Built as Northern Pacific 6010D, this EMD FT is now on display at the National Railway Museum of Puebla, coupled behind is DH-19, an ALCO PA.
Both of these units are operational and are often used to shuffle around equipment in the museum, 2203 even ventured out into the Ferrosur mainline on November of last year (for the celebration of Railway workers day) with a pair of passenger cars in tow.
The FT was rebuilt by FNM back in the 90's with a GP18 prime mover so it could be operational again.
Video of it operating in Ferrosur trackage for those interested can be seen here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=E6BQ2ot31K8

While it's totally not the best shot of it (thanks wooden ties! thankfully they're gonna get moved very soon), I wanted to share this pic of the last U23B from NdeM heritage in existence which is currently part of the National Museum of Railroads in the city of Puebla.
On the weekend of April 6, the project to restore it into Red/Olive Green NdeM scheme officially started by a group of volunteer railfans from several states of Mexico.
I somewhat feel it's a sacrilege to remove the smurf paint from it due to how few engines are left with it, but seeing all that rust and chipping makes this unit look depressing.
Can't wait to see it once finished and to experience what it's like to restore a locomotive!

One of two former Delaware & Hudson ALCO PA's that call the National Railway Museum of Puebla their home, this one being on static display while the other one, DH 19, is fully operational.
