I was pootering about the Radcliffe Camera in Oxford on a day of occasional sunshine and heavy showers, as the bells of the University Church of St Mary the Virgin pealed like crazy. Out walked this couple to a huge crowd of clapping and cheering well-wishers, some from their wedding party, some students, and some tourists. They then proceeded down Catte Street with the audio-visual entourage that is part of so many weddings these days and then into Brasenose College, persumably for a reception.
While they were on Catte Street, I took some photos of my own.

Built in 1900, the Lloyds Bank building at 1 High Street occupies a particularly prominent site in Oxford city centre, and looked ravishing on an afternoon of sunshine and heavy showers. It was designed by S Salter and R C Davey, and is Grade II listed.

Magdalen College is a constituent college of the University of Oxford.
The Great Tower was built between 1492 and 1509 by William Orchard, and is an imposing landmark on the eastern approaches to the city centre. The hall and chapel were built at similar times, though both have undergone some changes in the intervening years.

Hertford Bridge, often called "the Bridge of Sighs", is a skyway joining two parts of Hertford College over New College Lane in Oxford, England. Its distinctive design makes it a city landmark.
The bridge is often referred to as the Bridge of Sighs because of its supposed similarity to the famous Bridge of Sighs in Venice. However, Hertford Bridge was never intended to be a replica of the Venetian bridge, and instead it bears a closer resemblance to the Rialto Bridge in the same city.
The bridge links together the Old and New Quadrangles of Hertford College (to the south and the north respectively), and much of its current architecture was designed by Sir Thomas Jackson. It was completed in 1914, despite its construction being opposed by New College.
The bridge was a filming location in the Harry Potter movies.
