Young male Leopard crosses in front of us at dawn. The sun was just beginning to come up when we came upon this leopard. He had been stalking a herd of impala grazing around the airstrip outside of our lodge. Not wanting to be given away, he stayed long enough for one shot then scampered hurriedly into the brush. Male Elephant in the "must" or breeding stage. Although you can't see his cattle egret buddy on this photo, the duo had crossed parts of the Amboseli scrubland together - they looked as if they were chatting away and having a great time traveling together. Amboseli National Park, Kenya.
