About a dozen or so years ago I got involved with a radio theater group and it was the most fun. Radio theater is a reenactment of radio broadcasts from the 1930's and 40's. We did Dracula, War of the Worlds, Treasure Island, The Maltese Falcon, Scandal in Bohemia, A Christmas Carol, Arsenic and Old Lace and others. We had a sound effects man, too, which added to the authenticity of the performance. We had enthusiastic audiences for every performance. I miss it.
