When I first opened this image I couldn't figure out what the tiny white specks in the sky were. You can zoom in to see them yourself. The isn't film so they couldn't be dust spots, and they didn't look anything like sensor dust. Then I realized the camera caught all of the cottonwood fluff in the air, which you could see, but not the cottonwood pollen, which you couldn't see. My body, however, reacted to the pollen with watery eyes and sneezing whether it was visible or not.
