I am lucky enough to work for the harbour in St Peter Port Guernsey, and those early mornings are so worthwhile when the sun rises over Sark and Herm. It was freezing and really windy when I took this but well worth the pain in my fingers.

There is a Guernsey saying west is best, it normally relates to the West show which in fact is situated to the left of Fort Saumerez . But is aptly sums up the sunsets which we get on the west coast of Guernsey in fact I took this picture from Vazon bay.
