I was working at a travel show, where I chatted to the Head of the Dubai Police - Tourist Police Patrols Section on the "Dubai" stand. He agreed - after looking at my Flickr pics - to let me photograph some of their supercar collection and he brought three cars (on their day off!) to the Armani Hotel. I shot there and at the Dubai Fountains and got a ride in the BMW i8. They were extremely nice guys and I hope to link up for a bigger shoot with more cars next time I'm in Dubai.
I was very privileged to be able to do this and it probably helped that I speak a fair bit of Arabic, which initially surprised them!
