An adult Bald Eagle takes its freshly caught fish to what it hopes will be a safe eating location. With any luck, he got to that area without first having had the fish stolen from him by another Eagle. This time of the year, chances are not in his favor. Taken over the Susquehanna River in Maryland on Sunday afternoon 11-14-2010.

Three year Bald Eagle gathering nesting material in Maryland on Sunday 8-10-2008. This came out looking a little Sepia and that wasn't my original intent but with the overcast skies all day, it was hard to get proper lighting and with moments like this, you take what Mother Nature bestows upon you and smile :--)
