A creek flows quietly under a distant wooden walking bridge and past the Blacksmith's shop at Waterloo Village in Stanhope, New Jersey on Saturday.

My Wife needed a break from her college work so on Saturday we got up early and drove two hours through the rain headed to her first visit to Waterloo Village. We walked around for a couple of hours in weather that varied from pouring rain to light drizzle to just mist before heavier rain showed up on the radar and we headed home. She seemed to really enjoy herself, getting some really nice shots while shooting with her iPhone as she mostly does these days. This particular shot I made with the Bronica while standing under a Maple tree in pretty steady, light rain.

I've driven by this barn a thousand times and in the morning the golden light always bathes the scene in magic. I finally had some decent camera gear along with me this time so I stopped and captured it. The barn is located along a very busy section of US Route 78 in Fredericksburg, Lebanon County Pennsylvania.

Camera: Bronica SQ-A medium format film camera with a Bronica Zenzanon 150mm lens.

Film: Kodak Ektar 100 ISO color negative film.

Exposure: 1/30th second @ F22 with film rated at box speed of 100. Metered with Pentax 1 degree spot meter.

Development: Self Developed film using Tetenal C41 color development press kit in a Paterson Universal Tank.

Scanning: Negative scanned with Epson V600.
