I was trying to capture the glowing light of an evening snowstorm. Not sure if it comes through. I know my camera got pretty wet -- it was snowing hard. I like the touch of Christmas lights on the left. Watertown, MA.

Corcovado National Park. This is an amazing place -- miles of unspoiled and mostly inaccessible tropical jungle. There's one trail that goes along the beach and another that cuts through the center of the park. Other than that, no access for people. Jaguars, puma, and tapirs live here, along with lots of monkeys, anteaters, coatis, and and other smaller animals.

The holiday lights along Commonwealth Avenue in the Back Bay. This was taken at about 11 at night, with the light coming from the snow, streetlights, and the lights on the trees. It's a color photograph, and the only adjustment I did was to make it less yellow.
