We've been watching this murmuration all winter., and no doubt they've been watching us too
Now the season is ending and the numbers are falling
Last night they flew around us., over us., sometimes so low you could feel the breeze
They performed every conceivable shape in full view and then landed directly in front of us
The fact is they couldn't have put on a better show
Did they do it for us?
A final spectacular 'dance' until next winter?
Probably not., don't be silly!
But you know what? it certainly felt like it
