Icy temperatures and a cutting wind meant there wasn't much to see at Brandon Marsh last Sunday
Ann almost jokingly commented earlier that a deer or fox in the snow would make for a nice photograph
Like that was going to happen!
But then., there were the sounds of small footsteps and out from the bushes came this beautiful Fox
Even better this fox wasn't the running away type., he looked at us., we looked at him., he posed for photographs., and then he went on his way
Getting cold on a Sunday afternoon suddenly seemed a lot more worthwhile

Just how cute is this little guy!?
A character from a children's Disney movie?
No., he's totally real., and when he hid in the snow and kept popping his head up to see if we were still there we totally fell in love with him
Weasels are usually brown with white or yellowish underparts., but In winter the coats of weasels living in cold regions turn white
Resulting in what we believe to be the most adorable animal we have ever uploaded
Thanks for looking, comments and faves. Much appreciated

A trip to the Arctic wouldn't be complete without a Reindeer.
Bigger than you might think., and this one with a pair of Antlers I wouldn't want to argue with!
A few sledges around., but Santa Claus nowhere to be found!
Maybe he was hibernating!

There is a thermometer outside the place we are staying., It's been as low as -23C
This beautiful Deer survives for months in these conditions
Who would have thought Bambi was so tough?
And yes Disney changed Bambi's 'species' into a white-tailed deer from his original species of roe deer, since roe deer are not native to North America, and the white-tailed deer is more widespread in the United States
