Le Grau-du-Roi is situated south of Aigues-Mortes from which it is separated by a series of saline marshes (étangs in French) and a bend in the river Vidourle. Today Le Grau-du-Roi is a typical resort towns thanks to the 18 km of ine sandy beaches and a wildlife habitat with flamingo and other birds.
