The Tasman Tower is a structural accommodation building with 24 storeys on a prominent site on the edge of Groningen, near the junction of three important waterways. Two mutually linked towers over 75 metres high accommodate 218 apartments of varying size. Deep black aluminium frames delineate the façades of the apartments and emphasise the view over the city and surroundings.
My hometown is almost 1000 year old and modern architecture is ruling the town more and more for the last 20 years. Our
Groninger Museum is one of these new modern looking buildings. And now since last year we have this, the Tasman Tower.
There are still some apartments for sale....if you have some money left ;-)
