In 1968 motor tram GVB 1456 was moved by truck from Amsterdam to Hoorn, to be stored there awaiting further developments. After unloading from the truck to ground level the rerailing on to the NS tracks happened entirely with man power, hand operated jacks and a few steel U-profiles. Doing it the hard way in the rain with failing light, but it got done
