We have had some brutally cold weather this winter and Barney has been happy to have a heating pad in her house.
One morning we discovered that she was sleeping on top of her house. When she went outside I fixed the house roof only to have her come back and again collapse the roof.
It finally dawned on us that the temps had risen quite a bit above the freezing mark and the pad was probably too hot so we unplugged the pad and gave her fresh bedding.
Once. the cold returned we plugged the pad back in and she was happy to stay insiide once again.
