Going through my files, I came across this shot of Chicagoland Speedway and Route 66 Dragstrip. The shot was taken from a Southwest Airlines flight that I was on, 3 days after a Nascar race. I spent a lot of years on that speedway roof during Nascar and IRL events as part of a law enforcement command unit. :-)

To give some perspective, the grandstand holds 75,000 persons, and the oval track is 1.5 miles in length.
