I've never really done any sort of band photography but thought after being asked, I'd give it a go. First time I've used flash with a Fisheye, something completely different to what I normally photograph. All good fun. First DSLR photo of 2014 :)

I've never photographed any sort of band before but this young group 'Ways Away' asked if I'd do a photoshoot for them. I always like to help out the youngsters of the area whenever possible. I've added a cross process effect to this one.

Working on my black and white conversion through Lightroom alone and finally feel as though I'm getting the contrasty film look I've been striving for. The young band is called 'Ways Away' and you can find them on Soundcloud or Facebook.

The tide was quite far in for some of the locations I wanted to shoot but it was nice to get out and shoot some sunsets, got lucky with the sky for a change.
