Islet Lake and the Big Dipper - a small lake in the Blackfoot Grazing and Recreation Reserve east of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. The area is a mix of aspen forest, spruce forest, small wetlands and assorted small lakes and intermittent pastureland.

I was out there with a small group of photographers participating in a night photography course where we were hoping for clear skies to photograph the stars and possibly some northern lights.
