Dawn in the French alpine village of Saint-Gervais-les-Bains in the Haute Savoie.

It was our first morning in Saint Gervais and this was the view out of our apartment window. I was too lazy to start setting up the tripod so this was photographed at f1.4 with a Nikon 85f1.4D lens at iso 2000. It's performs best as a portrait lens but it worked surprisingly well here.
