A long-exposure photo that I took using the big camera on a tripod. It was about an hour before sunset and I thought the warmth of the light on the lifeboat station and on the red metal of the bridge was lovely. Virtually no post-processing on this shot - just a small crop from the bottom of the frame

A quick snapshot from my iPhone, cropped using the great Snapseed app then uploaded to Flickr. All a lot easier than using the big camera but not really as satisfying for some reason I haven’t yet figured out. I’ll post the photo I took with the big camera next week when I get back from bonny Scotland.

Another iPhone photo taken about an hour after the previous one. I’m still learning with the iPhone and this shot was cropped using the iPhone’s inbuilt editing software.
The fire on the horizon is the Mossmoran chemical plant burning off excess gas. The fire is 10 miles away and was so big at times that I Googled it to find out what was happening. Apparently it was an unplanned event at the factory which has been having similar issues for quite some time. God knows what it must be like living right next to the place:

This was taken using 2 options that are in the iPhone: ‘Live Photo’ combined with ‘Long Exposure’ which, in this particular photo, automatically removed moving people from the image.
