Coombe Hill. Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust.
In the carpark at Coombe Hill there is an apple tree just by the gate. As the year marches on, the apples have started falling from the tree. This female Mallard is having a taste (or trying to) of one of the wind falls. Don’t think her beak was really designed for it. Didn’t stop her though!
My thanks to anyone who views, faves or comments on any of my photos. It is much appreciated.
