Dymock Woods. Forestery England.

There were quite a few Mistle Thursh flying from the tops of the Fur trees near by. One tree then the next and back again. No doubt picking the seeds from the pine cones. Never close enough to get a shot. However this one decided to have a change of diet.

The male Mistle Thrush has a loud, far-carrying song which is delivered even in wet and windy weather, earning the bird the old name of "Stormcock".

My thanks to anyone who views, faves or comments on any of my photos. It is much appreciated.
