Image Description: |
There are literally thousands of images that are on my list of things to to do, to post online, both to commemorate the blessed life I have lived, and to share the beauty of nature and life that my friends love to see. I took this standing on the bow of the yacht I used to have in Long Island, New York, a year before I took it to Miami, Florida. A then beloved Tania was in the cockpit keeping an eye out while I balanced on the bow to soak in the scene and capture this image. It is nearly impossible to stand perfectly level and take a photo with the one-shot parabola mirror full 360° panorama lenses so getting the level perfectly circular is nearly impossible in a handheld shot. But the beauty of the time and place is still captured. This was taken near Smith Point Bridge connecting Long Island Fire Island. It was taken with the old Nikon E5700 I used to have, which, along with the fancy lens attached to it, ironically, were smashed right on that bridge when the camera strap slid out of its hook from Tania's shoulder as she, and my other equally beloved Kathy, were walking on that bridge to see the sunset. The circle of life, love, lust and more... ..© 2007-2017 IMRAN™ |
