Note, FTF 703F was originally operated by Ramsbottom Urban District Council as number 9. Ramsbottom Urban District Council’s operations were transferred to the Northern division of the Selnec Passenger Transport Executive on 1st November 1969, FTF 703F being renumbered 6409 in the Selnec Passenger Transport Executive’s March 1970 renumbering scheme. The Selnec Passenger Transport Executive became the Greater Manchester Passenger Transport Executive on 1st April 1974 due to local government reorganisation. FTF 703F was withdrawn from service in 1980 (after September) and acquired by Lister P.V.S. (a Bolton based dealer) in 1980. It was acquired by Samuel Eynon & Sons (a Trimsaran based operator) in 1980 and retained Greater Manchester Passenger Transport Executive livery
