Note, HEO 278 was originally operated by Barrow-in-Furness Corporation as number 8, being renumbered 108 in 1970. Barrow-in-Furness Corporation became the Borough of Barrow-in-Furness on 1st April 1974 due to local government reorganisation. HEO 278 was withdrawn from service in 1979 and acquired by Samuel Eynon & Sons later in the same year
