Note, MCK 223J was originally operated by Preston Corporation as number 223, Preston Corporation becoming the Borough of Preston on 1st April 1974 due to local government reorganisation. MCK 223J was acquired by the Isle of Man National Transport Limited in December 1982, entering service in March 1983 as number 10 with the registration W851 MAN. The operations of Isle of Man National Transport Limited and Isle of Man Railways were transferred to the Isle of Man Passenger Transport Board on 1st April 1983. W851 MAN was withdrawn from service in February 1986 and acquired by Ripley (a Carlton based dealer) in February 1986. It was re-registered MCK 223J in 1986 (by June) and was acquired by Citibus Tours Limited as number 2 in June 1986
