Royal Air Force former QinetiQ Limited SEPECAT Jaguar T2A XX833 of Number 1 School of Technical Training on display at the RAF Cosford Airshow at Royal Air Force Cosford. Sunday 19th June 2016
Note, XX833 was built by the British Aircraft Corporation (Preston Division) at Warton, first flying on 17th January 1975. It was delivered to the Royal Air Force on 20th February 1975 and was at some time upgraded from a T2 to T2A variant. It was transferred to the Royal Aircraft Establishment at Farnborough in February 1989 and then in April 1994 was transferred to Boscombe Down. On 1st July 2001 part of the business and certain assets of the Defence Evaluation Research Agency, including XX833, were purchased from the Ministry of Defence by QinetiQ Limited. XX833 carried out the last flight of a UK military-registered Jaguar aircraft on 20th December 2007 and was stored at Boscombe Down until August 2008 when moved to the Defence School of Aeronautical Engineering at Royal Air Force Cosford for ground instructional use
