Mount Assiniboine, often called as the "Matterhorn of the Rockies," is a masterpiece of nature nestled on the Continental Divide between British Columbia and Alberta. The mountain’s beauty is magnified by its reflections in pristine alpine lakes such as Lake Magog, Sunburst, and Cerulean. At sunrise and sunset, the peak blushes with hues of gold, pink, and orange, while the lakes mirror their grandeur, creating a surreal, doubled landscape. Nights are a stargazer paradise, with unpolluted skies revealing the Milky Way in dazzling detail. Hikers traverse trails like the iconic Nublet and Nub Peak, rewarded with panoramic vistas. Very early morning, in the dark, climbed to Nublet, thick clouds and strong winds, captured the blue hour with frozen hands, had to find the trees or rocks to hide ourselves to prevent our body from being frozen.
