Six years ago today, on June 1, 2011, Space Shuttle Endeavour (OV-105) completed its final mission (STS-134) and landed safely at Kennedy Space Center.

This photo was taken at the California Science Center's Samuel Oschin Pavilion, Endeavour's home until the permanent exhibit opens in 2018 (looks like it will be awesome). Definitely need to get back there someday and visit it again.

Went for a walk in the woods on a nice fall day scouting for photos. I hadn't taken a "look up" tree photo before and I was looking for some way to add some interest to that type of composition. Then I noticed this tree in the open and realized it could work well as a leading line.
