I thought I would dust off the d40..it's been a while since I used it. Today time is moved forward because of daylight savings. Daylight saving time to me means I can start playing basketball afterwork. Hope everyone has a good day.

#145/365 I've been pretty much hanging out at home all weekend with the family. On Saturday I went walking around the yard taking photos of flowers. That ended up in a big fail. Well today I decided to try again. This time instead of looking for flowers I was checking out everything..plants, trees, bushes...ect. I finally landed this shot...belive it or not this is flower from an onion. I had no idea onions even bloomed flowers. Enough yapping about flowers....have a great Memorial day. Please take time to remember everyone who died serving their country.

#245/365 You may now I try to do at least one nature shot a month. I decided to try to get it out early this month. I had a lot more shots with bee's..but I thought the bokeh in this was better than a bee. Taken with the same MF 135mm as yesterdays.

#280/365 It's that time of the month where I do a nature'esque shot. I followed the masses with something autumny .
Going to Disneyland again today..which is always good for a capture or two. This time not lugging around the d3 though.

Taraxacum officinale, commonly called Dandelion, is a herbaceous perennial plant of the family Asteraceae. It can be found growing in temperate regions of the world, in lawns, on roadsides, on disturbed banks and shores of water ways, and other areas with moist soils. As a nearly cosmopolitan weed, Dandelion is best known for its yellow flower heads, that turn into round balls of silver tufted fruits, that blow away on the wind.
#60/365 Well it was bound to happen...a picture of a Danelion. I also think this is the first macro shot since I started the 365. Hope you like it.
