#89/365 It's funny when I go into places to eat and pull out this big camera but I've become pretty good at being inconspicuous. In this one my back is facing away, the camera to my side (facing me). I look over my shoulder see if anyone is in the way..snap..reposition take a couple more. What's funny is after I took this shot I was pretty tempted to go shift some chairs around...but I'm not that bold..yet.

#74/365 I always challenge myself to get good shots at average places...it forces you to be creative with composition. Without a specific subject or focal point the whole scene becomes the focus which leaves you with only composition (I'm starting to sound like im wise or something). This shot reminds me of the Pho Resturant shot, where I make the best out of an average looking place. I call this shot "Simple" to let the composition stand on it's own. No fancy words, no black bars and not much PP (some color tweaks). Hope you like it.

#38/365 When I went out to lunch I had every intention of taking photos of my delicious vietnamese food and doing a triptych. Upon looking at all the photos I decided to go with this shot. As much as I like hole in the wall american diners I like small family own asian resturants. They all usually have the same decore. If you have never been, let me describe it for you: Cheap formica made counters & tables, sauce bottles straight from the containers they came in, fash tank next to the TV on the counter, a table of family members all sitting there watching tv, ceiling fans going full blast because it saves money not using the air conditioner...I can go on, but you get the picture. Sounds ugly...but I love it.

#57/365 It must be Triptych Thursdays! If I had to pick any food group to live off of it would be breads and since I don't live in a real city then this is the closest thing to a real bakery we have. It's ok though because I love their breads and sandwiches. If you ever have a chance to go make sure you try their Banana Bunt Cake. I would have included it picture but it is in my belly! Happy Triptch Thursdays!
