When new music comes out, I typically let the songs settle in; I listen to them a few times, then I might push them to the side and come back later to listen again. That's exactly what I did with the new song from Måneskin's front man, Damiano David. However, after my first listen, I could not push it aside, and I just kept replaying it instead. Anyone who knows me knows that I'm totally head over heels with Damiano David, and I have no shame in embarrassing myself with my over-the-top fangirling behavior. Ha!
The lyrics make perfect sense for me for where I am in my life. They resonate so strongly. Once you find your peace, your whole life takes on a different meaning, even direction. I now know and live the true meaning of "as your circle gets smaller, your vision gets clearer."
A lot of changes are happening in my life right now, and I welcome them with open arms. The packing boxes... not so much! Ha! Yes! I'm in the middle of a move in RL. I'm so excited! A new chapter in my life has begun!
So on these words, I wish you all an incredible weekend.

Finally, summer is almost over. While I do relish some aspects of this season, I much prefer the fall and winter seasons. I long for the smells of earthiness and sweetness that emanate from the fallen leaves. I welcome the enveloping silence of a fresh snowfall. I actually enjoy the cool, the brisk, and the cold associated with both.
So farewell to you, summer of 2024. I let go of you and all of your abnormal, suffocating heatwaves.
