The red rocks at Bar Beach with a view across the bay. These rocks formed from mudstone from the Devonian period and are 370 million years old. The long, sandy beach is across the water but these rocks are found on the northern side where a lake meets the sea. Sandy areas are adjacent lakeside and popular for parents with children.
