The yellow boat is a pilot vessel working out of Snug Cove, the Port of Eden on Twofold Bay, Far South Coast of NSW. Currently. there is a lot of building taking place at the port to accommodate more large tourist ships. Eden is also a fishing port and fishing trawlers bring their catches here.

Taken along the shoreline of the Back Lagoon at Merimbula NSW. This lagoon is adjacent Short Point Beach and in a section of bushland at the top of the town.

Earlier in the morning the sky was clear but later wispy clouds started moving from the west and by the time I arrived at this beach, they had moved over the ocean. This view looking east. Terrace Beach is only about 5 or 6 kms from the highway but an AWD or 4WD is recommended as it is a rough dirt track through the forest and takes about 15 minutes. There are many mounds to go over and about a metre (yard) high and 20 metres apart or closer as the hill goes down to the beach. A one lane track and I think the mounds are to stop erosion and to drain away the rain. Many potholes at the start of the track and it is very good to tighten up the stomach muscles! A dot on the horizon, if you can identify, is a sailboat. Located in the Beowa National Park on the Far South Coast NSW. (Formerly Ben Boyd National Park).

A photo from the usual tourist spot at Gerringong NSW. Misty rain and a strong wind this day. The countryside looking lush. Dairying is still carried out here and hopefully will continue. It would be sad to see this land with buildings. However, it must be worth a fortune and tempting to sell. You can perhaps see some Friesian cows in the distance.
