Trigonal symmetry. Not common in general but broeliads and irises all have this symmetry.
To view in 3D cross your eyes so you are seeing three blurred images in a line. Rest your attention on the central image and wait for your brain to refocus your eyes on the monitor screen. It may take a moment or two if you are new to this. When it happens you will lock on to a 3D image. It is a thrill the first time.
