Already past their best (late morning). The relationships between trees and their resident fungi is a life time study and a mystery to me. I'm always surprised to see delicate soft stem mushrooms growing from hard wood. These at waist height on a living trunk.

Fungii (fruiting bodies thereof) are quite easy to cha-cha. They are biggish and don't move about much.
